Preparartion For Your Ride:
Please download and bring a signed Riding Instruction Agreement and Liability Release form to your ride, otherwise you will need to sign when you arrive. Form must be completed before your ride.
Horseback Riding Lessons
A strong foundation in both on-and off- horse skills is key to a long- term, safe, and enjoyable equestrian journey, built on a deep bond between horse and rider. Our program is built upon principles of goal-setting and systematic skill development, tailored to each rider’s needs, to help them achieve their objectives. Setting achievable objectives, overcoming hurdles, and recognizing accomplishments enhances confidence, faith, and self- esteem. Acquiring the skills to comprehend horses and to partnership with them is a crucial cornerstone for any rider’s success. Our role is to offer essential resources and knowledge necessary to help you to achieve your equestrian goals.
Private And Semi- Private/ Group Lessons
Private Lessons
Private lessons are arranged by the hour, providing students with a comprehensive learning experience that includes ground instruction, grooming, tacking, and safe horse handling techniques before and after the lesson. The mounted instructions last between 30 and 45 minutes, with a minimum of 30 minutes of riding time per lesson. To ensure punctuality, students are advised to arrive 15-20 minutes before scheduled lesson time.
For those looking to build confidence before joining a group class, private lessons can provide a tailored and supportive environment to learn the basics.

Hour Private Lesson (single) – $80
Hour Private Lesson Package 4 (four lessons) – $300
Hour Private Lesson Package 8 (twelve lessons) – $560
Unlimited Riding Membership
$850/month
Our Unlimited Riding Membership is designed for students who want more saddle time and the opportunity to practice the skills they have learned.
Members may participate for up to one hour per available riding day, Thursday through Saturday, subject to scheduling, supervision, horse suitability and availability.
Unlike a traditional lesson package, not every session is a private riding lesson.
Unlimited Riding Membership may include a combination of:
Supervised hack/practice rides
Independent practice of previously learned skills under supervision
Instructor-assigned arena exercises
Opportunities to improve balance, consistency and confidence
Additional saddle time to reinforce skills learned during instruction
Important Membership Distinction
Unlimited Riding Membership does not guarantee one hour of private instruction each riding day.
Some sessions will consist of supervised practice or hack time, allowing students to independently apply and reinforce skills that have already been taught.
The Unlimited Riding Membership does not include the complete GV Academy Level Up curriculum, Adventure Passport, formal Academy evaluations, Academy achievement tracking, Level Up ribbons or Academy advancement program.
This program is about getting more time in the saddle.

For the student who wants to go beyond riding lessons, the GV Academy Premier Membership offers our most comprehensive equestrian education.
Academy students don’t simply learn to ride.
They learn to understand, handle, care for, communicate with, and become responsible partners with horses.
Academy sessions may vary depending upon the student’s current level, progress, and educational needs.
A student’s Academy week could include mounted instruction one day, groundwork or horse handling another day, and riding practice, equine education, or a Level Up evaluation on another.
